Your private Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour will begin around 8 in the morning from your Riad or hotel. You'll embark on an exciting journey through the High Atlas Mountains, stopping at the Telouet Kasbah, where you'll be amazed by the magnificent traditional interior decoration of this Kasbah.

From here, we continue our excursion to the Merzouga desert, passing through the stunning Ounila Valley and exploring Berber villages, gardens, and Kasbahs. After a delicious lunch, you can visit the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, the most renowned Kasbah in Morocco. Passing through Ouarzazate, we head to the Skoura Oasis to explore the famous Amridil Kasbah.

Next, we will pass through Kalaa Mgouna and the Valley of Roses, where you can see and possibly purchase locally-produced cosmetic products made with Damascus roses. The first day of the Marrakech desert excursion will conclude with an overnight stay at a hotel in the Dades Valley.

      • Day 2 Boumalne Dades - Todra Gorges - Merzouga

        Approx. 4-hour trip

After breakfast, the day starts with a drive to the charming oasis of Tinghir. We will take a refreshing walk along the banks of the Todra River. At the Todra Gorges, you can explore the beautiful towering cliff canyons and enjoy a delicious lunch before continuing your journey to Merzouga.

On the way to Merzouga, you will pass through the Ziz Valley and the cities of Erfoud, known for its magnificent artifacts. Your camel train awaits you at Erg Chebbi. Riding a camel, you will explore the dunes of Erg Chebbi and experience the exhilarating sight of the changing colors of the sand as the sun sets.

You will arrive at your desert camp before dusk, where you will have the opportunity to experience the serenity of the desert on a nearby dune. After a delicious dinner under the starry sky, you will be entertained by nomads with drums and music around a campfire. You can also enjoy an extraordinary view of shooting stars before retiring to your desert tent in the Sahara.
