Wear comfortable clothing, a light jacket due to the wind, and comfortable walking shoes. Don't forget sunglasses and sunscreen.

Very well-organized day trip. The stop at the argan cooperative was interesting without feeling rushed. Essaouira itself is beautiful and relaxed. Our driver was friendly and punctual all day.
Pick-up was on time; the driver was safe and polite. Essaouira and the Atlantic coast were perfect for a day’s escape from busy Marrakesh.
the vibe, the food, the views. The medina is compact enough to see everything in a day. The fishing port at lunch was a highlight. My only note: 3 hours each way is a lot of driving, so be prepared. That said, the driver made good stops.
The argan cooperative was fascinating. I had no idea how much work goes into making the oil. Essaouira itself is charming with its white walls, blue shutters, and Atlantic views. We found a quiet café on the ramparts and just relaxed. The town has a creative, artistic soul.
Essaouira is gorgeous, but bring a jacket; it's windier than you'd expect, even in summer. The town itself is lovely... white and blue buildings, friendly locals, great seafood. The Skala fortress offers amazing views. Only giving 4 stars because the drive is quite long for a day trip, but the destination makes it worthwhile.
