The Ourika Valley is approximately 50 kilometers (31 miles) from Marrakech, which is about a 1-hour drive.
The weather is generally mild, with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 25°C (50°F to 77°F). It can be cooler in the mountains, so a light jacket is recommended.
Meals are not included, but there are many cafes and restaurants along the valley where you can enjoy local Moroccan dishes, Moroccan tea, coffee and refreshing drinks.
Wear comfortable, layered clothing and sturdy walking shoes for hiking. A hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are also recommended.
The best time to visit is during the spring and early summer when the valley is lush and green with blooming flowers.
